The last time I went to Emergency the Chinese doctor on duty had such a thick accent I hardly understood a word he said. Apparently there are two Nigerian doctors in GP who are virtually incomprehensible. Doesn't a foreign doctor applying for licensure in AB have to pass an oral English exam? What's the use of a doctor who knows enough English to pass the written exams but who can't be understood by the patient? The long wait was a crime. The other doctor I saw in Emergency two weeks earlier made me wait for hours too, but he was wonderful.
